My client requires an experienced Interim Financial Controller to support the creation of a new group structure and deliver a complex business integration programme. This is a hands‑on, delivery‑focused contract role operating outside IR35, with UK travel required. Key Responsibilities Support the CFO on the creation of a new group, including operational finance design. Develop and implement a robust integration framework covering people, processes, systems, and financial controls. Drive detailed financial planning for a multi‑workstream integration across diverse business units. Manage complex stakeholder environments and ensure alignment across teams. Work directly with functional owners to embed processes and deliver measurable outcomes. Oversee end‑to‑end delivery, ensuring milestones are achieved on time and to the required standard. Experience & Skills Required Qualified accountant with extensive financial controller experience Strong background in business integration, ideally with carve‑out experience. Proven ability to manage complex people and process change in a fast‑moving environment. Hands‑on approach - comfortable moving between strategic planning and operational delivery. Experience creating and embedding integration frameworks from the ground up. Skilled communicator with the ability to influence at senior levels. Completion accounts experience is a nice‑to‑have.
