Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and professional Dental Receptionist to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our patients, providing exceptional customer service while managing administrative tasks efficiently. This role is crucial in ensuring a smooth operation of the practice and enhancing patient experience.
Duties
* Greet patients warmly and ensure a welcoming environment.
* Manage appointment scheduling, confirmations, and cancellations.
* Handle patient inquiries and provide information about services offered.
* Maintain accurate patient records and manage filing systems.
* Process patient payments and assist with insurance claims as necessary.
* Coordinate with dental staff to ensure efficient workflow within the practice.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the reception area.
* Assist with other administrative tasks as required to support the team.
Qualifications
* Previous office experience is desireable, preferably in a healthcare setting.
* Administrative experience is highly desirable, showcasing strong organisational skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients and staff.
* Proficiency in using computer systems and dental software is an advantage.
* Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
