FIXED TERM – 12 MONTHS/SECONDMENT/PART TIME
With effect from 01 April 2026, NHS Scotland is reducing its full time working week from 37 to 36 hours per week, there will be no change in full time pay.
Responsibilities
* Collaborate closely with a range of services and care for a diverse group of patients, helping deliver the right care, in the right place, at the right time.
* Support a patient-centred approach and flexible, agile working while maintaining high-quality care, seven days a week.
* Be part of an Integrated Care Team including Community Nurses, Advanced Nurse Practitioners, Healthcare Assistants, Social Care and Allied Health Care Professionals, contributing to growth and development.
* Adapt to evolving community services and participate in shaping responsive care delivery.
Requirements / Qualifications
* Previous experience of working as a support worker and demonstrated ability to work well within a team and without direct supervision.
* Excellent verbal and non-verbal communication skills; ability to help service users.
* A genuine interest in community working and the diversity it brings.
* Leadership qualities and excellent communication skills.
* A wide range of clinical knowledge and skills with evidence of continuous professional development.
* Caring, professional, able to work in a high-pressure environment and adapt to changing situations.
* Willingness to work a variety of shifts, including weekends.
* Hours of work: Monday – Sunday, 0800 – 2000hrs.
