Farrow and Ball – Senior Brand Manager (Maternity Cover 12 months) Wimborne, Dorset We are currently looking for an experienced individual to join our Marketing team in Wimborne as a Senior Brand Manager. We are offering this position on a fixed-term contract 12 months, full time at our head office in Wimborne Dorset. Our teams work on a hybrid basis with 2 days a week minimum in office. As an experienced Senior Brand Manager this role will be responsible for leading the strategic direction of our brand. In this key role, you will be responsible for developing and executing innovative brand strategies that drive awareness, engagement, and growth. You will work closely with cross-functional teams in the UK and North America, including Product Development, Communications, Sales (our retail and trade), Colour Consultancy and Ecommerce, to ensure our brand resonates with target audiences and stands out in the marketplace. What we expect from you as a Senior Brand Manager Key Responsibilities: Brand Strategy Development: Lead the development of long-term brand strategies, against our 4 key brand pillars, to position the brand as a luxury market leader. Conduct market research and consumer insights analysis to inform brand positioning and strategy and identify opportunities for growth across all our audiences. Collaborate on brand guidelines, ensuring consistency in messaging across all touchpoints. Brand Management and Innovation: Manage and drive brand health metrics, including awareness, loyalty, and equity. Identify market trends, consumer behaviour shifts, and competitor analysis to inform product and brand innovation. Collaborate with the product development team to ensure new products align with the brand’s positioning and consumer needs. Regularly present insights, trends, and campaign results to senior leadership. Managing and nurturing the internal brand team Cross-functional Campaign Collaboration: Partner with Trade, Colour Consultancy, PR, and Ecommerce teams to drive cohesive brand experiences and integrated, data driven marketing strategies across new product and campaign launches as well as BAU. Provide training and guidance to all internal departments on brand ambition and standards. Key Attributes: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field or equivalent experience. Significant experience working in brand management or a related field, with a proven track record of successfully leading brand strategies. Strong understanding of brand development, positioning, and marketing principles. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Ability to think strategically and creatively while managing multiple priorities. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in using data to drive decisions. Experience in managing cross-functional teams and working with external agencies. Knowledge in digital and Brand marketing, including social media, e-commerce, and content marketing. Leadership and team collaboration. Strategic thinking and business acumen. Creativity and a quest for innovation. Project management and strong organisational skills. Data-driven decision making.
