About the Role: An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Project Manager to join a dynamic clean water capital delivery team on a contract basis. You'll lead the end-to-end delivery of water infrastructure projects across the North West - including mains renewals, pipe maintenance, and network upgrades. This role is ideal for a contractor with strong utilities or water sector experience, looking to add value to critical infrastructure programmes. Key Responsibilities: Manage the planning, delivery, and handover of clean water projects Deliver works using techniques such as slip lining, pipe bursting, and open cut Maintain programme delivery to time, cost, quality, and safety standards Oversee contractor performance and stakeholder engagement Interpret and review project designs, challenging and advising where necessary Ensure all activities comply with SHE and regulatory requirements Requirements: Proven experience managing clean water or utilities projects Knowledge of mains renewal techniques and construction methods SMSTS or equivalent H&S qualification Understanding of NEC contract frameworks Strong focus on safety, quality, and delivery Full UK driving licence Contract Details & Benefits: Day rate: £350-£450 per day (Outside IR35) Initial term: 6 months, likely extension based on performance and workload Location: Preston/North West - travel to site required Flexible working (hybrid/site-based) Supportive team environment with smooth onboarding process Interested?
