Overview
We are looking for a qualified Social Worker for the Bromsgrove Area Social Work (adults) Team. This team covers the Bromsgrove area, Rubery, Wythall, Hagley and the Bromsgove villages.

Salary: £28,234 to £34,997 per annum, plus £2,432 market forces*
Hours: 31 Hours per Week

Responsibilities
* Carry out assessments, reviews and safeguarding enquiries under the Care Act.
* Work in partnership with housing, police, safeguarding professionals and local community/faith groups.
* Work on duty and follow up duty enquiries as part of a team approach.
* Attend monthly supervision with line manager and participate in monthly reflective sessions to discuss practice and learn from peers; monthly team meetings to stay up to date with Worcestershire County Council (WCC) business.
* Develop skills through the training offer at Worcestershire County Council.
* Contribute to a supportive and solutions‑focused team environment.
Qualifications
* Qualified Social Worker.
* Experience with older adults and/or adults with physical disabilities is desirable.
Partnerships & Working
* Collaborate with health professionals including District Nurses, GPs and CHC Nurses, and partner with housing, police, safeguarding professionals and local community/faith groups.
