We're looking for someone who gets genuinely excited about podcasts — not just as content, but as powerful tools that build brands, spark conversations, and create real business impact.
Based in Bournemouth (with hybrid flexibility), you'll be the person our clients trust to turn their podcast ambitions into reality. You'll guide them from "we have an idea" all the way through to "we've just hit 10,000 downloads." And everything in between.
This role blends strategic thinking with hands-on creativity. You'll work with video editors, designers, and booking specialists to coordinate the moving parts, but you'll also be the one presenting insights to clients, shaping content direction, and making sure every episode actually matters.
If you love the idea of being equal parts strategist, project manager, and creative partner — this could be your role.
What You'll Actually Do
* Be the person clients rely on.
* Own the relationship with your portfolio of podcast clients, understanding what keeps them up at night, what success looks like for them, and how their podcast fits into the bigger picture.
* Translate client goals into clear, actionable content strategies and help them plan 6–12 months ahead with a show roadmap that evolves as they do.
* Lead strategy that drives results: run regular strategy sessions and performance reviews, present insightful recommendations, and keep clients in the loop with thoughtful progress updates.
* Orchestrate production: oversee the full production journey for multiple clients, brief editors, coordinate with designers, sync with booking leads, attend recordings (in person or remotely), prep run sheets, and ensure sessions run smoothly.
* Review supporting materials (show notes, blogs, graphics, promo assets) to ensure everything is polished and on-brand; assist with distribution and promotion plans to reach the right audiences.
* Manage projects: own timelines, budgets, milestones; track deliverables across accounts; turn data into client-ready recommendations; anticipate and solve challenges.
What We're Looking For
* You've done account management before — ideally in a marketing, creative, or content production setting.
* You understand podcasting or digital content production; you don't need to be an audio engineer but should know how the pieces fit together and what good looks like.
* You're exceptionally organized with multiple clients and deadlines.
* You're a confident communicator and natural relationship-builder who can present ideas and navigate conversations with grace.
* You think strategically but stay creative; you can connect a single episode idea to bigger business goals and care about storytelling, tone, and details that make content land.
* You can write well and care about getting the small stuff right.
* Bonus points for experience with podcast analytics tools, hosting platforms, or production software (Adobe Audition, Descript, etc.).
What You'll Get
* £29k–£35k depending on experience — competitive and fair for the value you’ll bring.
* The chance to lead client podcasts that actually get listened to and make a difference to their businesses.
* A collaborative, creative, and supportive team.
* Hybrid working based in Bournemouth.
* Opportunities to grow your skills in account management, content strategy, and creative leadership.
The Reality Check
This isn't a sit-back-and-delegate role. It's hands-on. You'll be in the weeds with the team, shaping ideas, reviewing edits, and making things happen, while also providing strategic direction aligned to client goals.
If that balance sounds exciting, let's talk.
