Job Description
The Contracts Manager has overall responsibility for the co-ordination, management and delivery of assigned projects, ensuring they are completed profitably, safely, on time and to a high standard whilst maintaining and promoting strong client relationships. They will ensure the most effective and efficient utilisation of people and resources required for the duration of the project. The Contracts Manager will be assigned to multiple live projects but will also be involved in the pre-construction stages of projects and post construction issues that may arise after Practical Completion.
Responsibilities
1. Implement Quality, Environmental and Health & Safety Management procedures alongside SHE Manager
2. Maintain thorough documentation of contract processes and amendments.
3. Monitor contract performance and manage any issues that arise during the contract lifecycle.
4. Communicate effectively with internal teams and external partners to facilitate smooth contract execution.
5. Work with Quantity Surveyor to procure site resources
6. Work in accordance with project master programme, develop & implement short term programmes with the site manager & key partners
7. Drive continuous improvement in contract management processes to enhance efficiency.
8. Provide leadership and guidance to team members involved in contract-related activities.
