Global Consumer / Hospitality Business | London (Hybrid)

This role sits at the heart of the legal function, partnering closely with the General Counsel and senior leadership to support strategic growth, international expansion and day-to-day operations.
The Opportunity
This is a broad, high-impact in-house role with genuine visibility across the business. You’ll operate as a key advisor to senior stakeholders, including the Global Leadership Team, working across a wide range of commercial and strategic matters.
The remit is truly international—supporting projects and operations across Europe, the US, the Middle East and Asia—offering a level of exposure that is rare at this stage of your career.
You’ll be given autonomy, responsibility and the chance to shape how legal supports a fast-moving, consumer-facing business.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead on a range of complex, high-value legal matters across multiple jurisdictions
* Provide pragmatic, commercially focused advice to senior stakeholders across the business
* Draft, review and negotiate a wide variety of commercial agreements (including supplier, technology and franchise agreements)
* Support franchise arrangements and expansion initiatives globally
* Advise on corporate transactions and M&A activity
* Oversee intellectual property matters, working with external counsel on strategy and protection
* Manage disputes and litigation, including coordination of external counsel
* Support governance, policy development and implementation across jurisdictions
* Identify and mitigate legal and regulatory risks across different markets
* Play a key role in cross-functional projects, acting as a trusted business partner
About You
* Qualified lawyer with c.2–7 years’ PQE
* Strong grounding in commercial contracts (private practice or in-house)
* Experience in a consumer, retail, hospitality or franchising environment is advantageous but not essential
* Commercially minded, pragmatic and solutions-focused
* Confident engaging with senior stakeholders and influencing decision-making
* Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment
* Able to manage multiple priorities and operate with a high degree of autonomy
* International exposure or interest in cross-border work is beneficial
