Job Description My client is a fast-growing, forward-thinking manufacturing business investing heavily in its future. They are looking for a Multiskilled Engineer to join their night shift team on a temporary basis of up to 16 months. The Multiskilled Engineer will ideally have the following attributes: Time-served or Level 3 qualified in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (with strong mechanical experience) Proven experience in mechanical maintenance within a manufacturing or production environment Confident carrying out fault finding, strip-downs, and rebuilds on production machinery Experience working on conveyors, pumps, bearings, chains, belts, and rotary machinery Familiar with pneumatic systems including valves, cylinders, and airlines Able to carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) to improve equipment reliability Some electrical fault finding experience (motors, sensors, drives) is beneficial but not essential Able to work independently and make decisions on nights with minimal supervision Reliable, safety-conscious, and comfortable working a permanent night shift pattern The Multiskilled Engineer will benefit from the following: £53,000 salary Monday–Thursday nights, 10:00pm–8:00am (three-day weekend every week) 25 days holiday (pro rata) Christmas shutdown Holiday purchase scheme Company bonus scheme Pension Sick pay (after qualifying period) Simplyhealth cash plan Accident insurance & life assurance Bike2Work scheme Free onsite parking £1,000 employee referral bonus If you are a Multiskilled Engineer looking for a well-paid nights contract in manufacturing, apply today or get in touch for a confidential conversation.
