As a Service Planner, you’ll coordinate maintenance, servicing and repairs for heavy commercial vehicles, helping ensure fleets stay compliant, roadworthy and ready for the road. You’ll play a key part in delivering excellent service, building customer relationships and keeping operations running smoothly. No two days are the same in this varied and rewarding role. Paying up to £32,000, flexible hours onsite Alternate Morning Saturday shifts are required. Service Planner responsibilities: Create and manage service and maintenance plans for customer vehicles. Keep the service planning system (Prompt) updated with accurate vehicle and maintenance information. Schedule routine servicing, inspections, MOTs and tachograph calibrations. Contact customers to arrange and confirm planned maintenance dates. Prepare workshop schedules and service planning (including advance planning using T Cards). Monitor missed service occasions and support KPI targets. Manage the flow of job cards through to invoicing. Coordinate warranty and contract maintenance work. Support MOT bookings with approved testing facilities (ATFs). Prioritise workloads to ensure promised work is completed on time and to a high standard.
