Job title: BIM Manager

Salary: Up to £60,000 per annum
The Role
As the BIM Manager, you will be responsible for the BIM/CAD team, ensuring quality and compliance of all drawings/models for various clients’ projects. You will create and maintain BIM standards, support teams through training and development, and act as the primary liaison for all BIM/CAD-related matters both internally and externally.
Responsibilities
* Developing and implementing company-wide BIM processes, workflows, and internal standards documentation.
* Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of BIM trends, standards (e.g., ISO 19650), and technologies, and driving their integration into business operations.
* Ensuring compliance with BIM contractual obligations including BEPs, data exchange protocols (e.g., IFC, COBie), and project-specific requirements.
* Managing the development, maintenance, and distribution of BIM Execution Plans (BEPs), Model Production and Delivery Tables (MPDTs), and other project documentation.
* Delivering structured BIM training to both immediate and wider teams.
* Leading and mentoring the BIM/CAD Technicians, supporting their development, and resolving technical challenges.
* Escalating BIM/CAD queries and issues.
* Collaborating with internal teams and clients to understand BIM expectations and ensuring project deliverables meet their requirements.
* Overseeing BIM budgets, including management of software licenses, training investments, and hardware resources to ensure cost efficiency.
* Conducting regular audits of BIM models to ensure quality, accuracy, and adherence to standards.
* Promoting best practices in data management, coordination, and model production to ensure consistency and quality across projects.
* Coordinating BIM activities across multiple projects and disciplines, ensuring compliance with ISO 19650 and other relevant standards.
* Overseeing clash detection, model audits, and quality assurance processes.

Essential Profile
* Previous experience as a BIM Manager or equivalent.
* Deep understanding of ISO 19650 and relevant BIM standards.
* Ability to develop and manage BIM execution plans, standards, and workflows.
* Experience in auditing and maintaining high model quality and data accuracy.
* Excellent communication skills, including delivering presentations.
* Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and IT software.
* Attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and analytical thinking with proven action plan delivery.
* Proficiency in BIM software (e.g., Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD) and data formats (IFC, COBie).
* Understanding of CDEs and federated model workflows.
Desirable Profile
* Certification or formal qualification in BIM.
* Experience in Fire, Security, or Data Infrastructure industries.
* Experience with AutoCAD and Autodesk Construction Cloud.

Conditions
The physical environment involves working in an open-plan office and at locations in Gloucester, Dronfield, and London. Flexibility in working hours is required, including evenings or early mornings, and occasional travel within Europe. Construction site work involves both indoor and outdoor environments, requiring PPE.
