We are recruiting for a passionate, hands-on Head Chef to lead the kitchen at a busy village gastro pub.
Working with a strong team of chefs and a brand new kitchen, you will be cooking modern British cuisine, using local produce as much as possible. There is potential to develop a kitchen garden.
The ideal person will have strong management and communication skills, excellent health and safety knowledge and be a strong mentor and leader as you will be fully responsible for all back of house management.
Ideally, you will have experience working in restaurants at 2AA Rosette level or similar, and be confident running a fresh, seasonal menu to a high standard. Complete autonomy on the menu.
The pub is closed Mondays and Tuesdays, and the new owners have exciting plans to grow the business so this is a great role for someone looking to settle in to a great role and progress their career
