2. Apply architecture principles and define non-functional requirements with product partners and customers
3. Evaluate and recommend observability tools, including vendor and open source solutions
4. Drive consistency and apply architecture standards across developed tools
5. Lead strategic, cross-cutting initiatives from planning to execution and closure
6. Establish milestones, identify dependencies and risks, and coordinate delivery across teams and stakeholders
7. Translate architectural decisions into actionable delivery plans and production-ready solutions
8. Foster collaboration and teamwork across global engineering teams
9. Present technical and program updates to senior technical and non-technical audiences
10. Resolve conflicts and broker solutions to complex problems
11. Promote a positive, inclusive working environment
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
12. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent technical discipline
13. Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills, engaging effectively at all levels
14. Ability to switch between technical design and planning, coordination, and stakeholder management
15. Experience motivating and influencing software development teams
16. Skilled in presenting to executive-level audiences and architectural review boards
17. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
18. Technology background in both development and support organizations, ideally within global financial institutions
19. Proven team player with experience leading global teams across regions and cultures
20. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to resolve conflicts quickly
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
21. Recent hands-on experience with Java, Python, or Golang
22. Understanding of application observability, telemetry, and automation of operational processes
23. Experience with public cloud platforms, especially AWS or GCP
24. Background in delivering infrastructure or platform-level programs with regulatory, compliance, or resiliency requirements (., network segmentation, disaster recovery, regional data sovereignty)
