Role: 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant Location: Childwall, Liverpool Salary: £90-110 per day (depending on experience and qualifications) To apply, you must show proof of right to work in the UK. About the Role We are currently seeking experienced SEN Teaching Assistants to join a fantastic primary school located in the Childwall area of Liverpool. This school is looking to appoint 2 x SEN TAs on a full-time basis (Monday to Friday, 8:30-3:30) Experience with SEN is essential, particularly ASD/ADHD. One role will be based in Year 5 and the other will be in KS1. There will be opportunities for permanent recruitment available for the successful candidate. Person Specification Qualifications Level 2/3 teaching assistant qualification is desirable; however, those with relevant school experience will also be considered. GCSE English & Maths (Grade C/4 or above for both) or equivalent Level 2. Current DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for a new one through Connex. Experience in KS1/2 Experience working with SEN pupils on a 1:1 basis Knowledge and skills Builds positive, supportive relationships with pupils and staff to support teaching & learning. Sound understanding of classroom roles, routines, and expectations, and how to contribute effectively to these. Observant and reflective, able to recognise and respond to changes in behaviour or wellbeing. Awareness of safeguarding, confidentiality, and professional boundaries in a school setting.
