Atlas Copco Compressors is looking for a collaborative and organised Field Service Supervisor to support our operations based out of Wellingborough.
As part of the local operational leadership team, you will play an important role in supporting safe, efficient, and high-quality service delivery. You’ll help guide field teams, build strong customer relationships, and contribute to continuous improvement across the region. This is a hybrid role, with a mix of office-based work and time spent supporting field operations. The balance will be agreed with the Service Manager and may vary depending on business needs.
1. Support the Service Manager with the day-to-day coordination of field service activities to ensure smooth and effective delivery
2. Perform the responsibilities of a Field Service Engineer
3. Help lead, coach, and support field service technicians and apprentices, encouraging development and teamwork
4. Build and maintain positive relationships with customers, responding to queries and ensuring a high standard of service
5. Contribute to achieving regional operational goals and key performance indicators (KPIs)
6. Work closely with the planning team to support scheduling and resource coordination
7. Assist with safety audits and ensure accurate and timely documentation
8. Provide support for workshop-related activities when required
9. Promote a strong health and safety culture, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures
10. Monitor regional connectivity performance and collaborate with the diagnostic team to resolve issues

11. Previous leadership or mentoring experience
12. Experience working with apprentices or junior engineers

15. Experience in a field service or engineering environment
