Role Overview
The Bids Manager will support senior leadership in commercial activities, managing proposal lifecycles, and leading response writing with technical team support. This hands-on role involves producing documents, presentations, and supporting materials in collaboration with leadership and technical teams.

Key Responsibilities
* Collaborate with solution architects and leadership to create sales proposals
* Manage client relationships and understand opportunities
* Build relationships with operational stakeholders for bid submissions
* Develop account plans and compelling proposals
* Review contracts and negotiate terms
* Lead bid production for new and existing clients
* Create reusable collateral to improve efficiency
* Advise on public sector procurement and frameworks
* Monitor government tenders and identify opportunities
* Support the full sales cycle and opportunity qualification
Skills & Experience
* Proven ability to produce high-quality bids and proposals
* Ability to explain technical solutions to non-technical audiences
* Excellent communication and presentation skills
* Experience selling IT in the UK public sector
* Knowledge of UK Government frameworks and procurement processes
* Strong negotiation skills and results-driven attitude
* Strategic, creative, and positive approach
