Key Responsibilities & Opportunity Bespoke Intervention: Plan and deliver tailored 1:1 tuition and support sessions covering core academic subjects (e.g., Maths, English) or providing specialist vocational/pastoral mentoring. Vulnerable Learners: Work intensively with small caseloads of KS3 and KS4 students (11-16) who are currently disengaged, medically fragile, or have complex SEMH/SEND needs. Relationship Building: Act as a key mentor, focusing on improving attendance, punctuality, self-esteem, and re-engagement with learning. Collaboration: Work closely with the school's SENCO, Pastoral Team, and external agencies to track progress and contribute to EHC plans or bespoke education packages. Essential Skills & Attributes CriteriaDetail ExperienceProven experience delivering effective one-to-one support, tuition, or mentoring to secondary-aged students (11-16). QualificationsA degree or relevant Level 3 qualification is preferred. QTS is NOT required, but a background in teaching, tutoring, or youth work is essential.
