Are you a proactive and self‑starting Risk or Compliance professional looking for your next challenge? This permanent opportunity could be ideal for someone with experience in a regulated environment—particularly Health—who’s ready to step into a dynamic role leading the Health Governance & Assurance (G&A) Business Partnering team and the Financial Promotions approvals team.
A bit about the job: This permanent opportunity sits within the IWR (Insurance, Wealth and Retirement) G&A shared service function operating as a key member of the Senior Leadership Team (SLT). Business Partnering the MD Health and operating as part of the Health Leadership team and operating at Board level representation and discussions. You’ll play a key role in helping the business execute its strategy safely and at pace, providing proactive risk and control challenge, guidance, and support. You’ll also collaborate across the wider G&A Shared Services team to drive improved risk management and ensure good customer outcomes.
We flex locations, hours and working patterns to suit our customers, business and you. Most of our people are smart‑working, spending around 50% of their time in our offices each week, combining the benefits of flexibility with time together with colleagues.
Skills and experience we’re looking for:
* Prior risk or compliance experience in a regulated environment, ideally Health-related.
* Strong business partnering and relationship management skills, with confidence in engaging senior leaders and an ability to present at board level.
* Solid understanding of risk, compliance, and corporate governance.
* Ability to work independently and make business‑critical decisions.
* Excellent attention to detail, with strong presentation and leadership skills.
What you’ll get for this role:
* Salary circa £100,000 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications)
* Bonus opportunity – 25% of annual salary (actual amount depends on your performance and Aviva’s)
