What's involved with this role: Temporary Project Officer / Admin – Children Services Reference no: Oxfordshire 5245884 Pay rate: £12.45 per hour PAYE Hours per week: 37 Monday to Friday, normal working hours This opening assignment is for 6 months City: OXFORD, Oxfordshire Minute taking skills and experience are essential for this role A Project Officer is required to provide project support to one or several projects and to work closely with colleagues across the department to help plan, administer and mobilise projects and initiatives. Key responsibilities: Provide support to project management activities. Administer logistics, including arranging security access, on-boarding, appropriating desks, ensuring connectivity, booking meeting rooms and monitoring project team holiday and availability. Take minutes of meetings and ensure all decision are appropriately recorded and actioned Monitor project scope against baseline. Maintain the project plan, including the overall timeline, milestones and dependencies. Manage the project’s risks, issues and assumptions logs. Administer project issues and ensure that they are, ultimately, resolved. Provide consistent and accurate progress, risks and issues reporting to project management. Communications with school, internal teams and stakeholders relating to projects when required. Act as a point of contact for members of the CEF directorate leadership team in relation to all of the above. Scope and plans stakeholder meetings related to projects as and when required.
