Our client, a highly respected and CQS accredited law firm, is looking for a Head of Department to provide the vision, structure, and supervision their growing team needs. This is a role where you will be the architect of the department’s success.
The Role
As the Head of Residential Property, you will be the glue for a talented team of 12 professionals spread across three offices.
Your key responsibilities will include:
* Team Leadership & Supervision: Providing technical guidance and mentorship to a team of 12, ensuring high standards across all locations
* Process Optimisation: Reviewing and refining internal procedures to ensure the department operates like a well-oiled machine
* Quality & Compliance: Upholding the firm’s CQS accreditation and ensuring all work meets the highest regulatory standards
* Strategic Structure: Implementing clear workflows and reporting lines to provide the team with a sense of direction and stability
About You
You are likely a Solicitor, CILEX, or Licensed Conveyancer with a good amount of PQE. While your technical knowledge is top-tier, your real strength lies in your people skills.
