Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced HGV Technician to join their fully equipped workshop in Sherburn in Elmet. Requirements: NVQ Level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance City & Guilds equivalent Strong experience working on HGVs You must be able to diagnose faults, complete repairs to manufacturer standards, and maintain a high level of professionalism and safety. As an HGV Technician, your responsibilities will include: Routine inspections, servicing and general maintenance Fault diagnosis and accurate reporting Completing repairs to current manufacturer standards Managing diagnostics and ordering parts efficiently Ensuring all work is completed correctly the first time and within given deadlines Working closely with the Workshop Manager and wider team The following skills are advantageous but not essential: Knowledge of cranes or hydraulics Experience with tippers, tipper grabs or beaver tails Familiarity with the latest diagnostic software Class 1 (C+E) or Class 2 (C) licence (car licence holders still considered) ...
