Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced, motivated and highly effective Programme Director (fixed term – 14 months) to lead the development and implementation of the Trust’s Electronic Patient Record (EPR) system. The post holder will ensure that a person‑centric view is at the heart of the EPR programme and that its delivery is fit for purpose, aligned to, and supports, the Trust’s strategic objectives and future service models.


Responsibilities

* Design, procure, implement and embed the EPR system in a way that fully supports TEWV’s strategic objectives and future service models.
* Lead internal and external stakeholder communications and engagement to build effective relationships that influence the design and delivery of the EPR programme.
* Establish and support the EPR Programme structure, embedding it into the Trust’s governance and existing programmes of work, and put in place robust risk monitoring and reporting processes.
* Stand up and lead the programme team and governance through implementation and the transfer to Business As Usual.
* Lead cultural and behavioural change across the Trust to enable a new way of working that improves patient care and service delivery.
* Work in partnership with suppliers, Executive Teams, Senior Leadership Clinical Teams and the Trust’s governance to build organisational readiness, ensuring smooth transition from programme to business as usual.
* Lead benefits realisation, digital adoption and system optimisation across all care groups.


Eligibility & Sponsorship

This role may be eligible for sponsorship under the UK Visas & Immigration (UKVI) Skilled Worker route. Sponsorship will only be offered where applicants meet the specific requirements. Applicants should assess their eligibility before applying via UK Government – Skilled Worker Visa. The Trust may also offer sponsorship for a Health and Care Worker visa or other eligible routes, subject to role and candidate eligibility.
