Job Description

This is an exciting role in the Hazardous Waste team to provide leadership ensuring the regime is sustainably resourced, meets all aspects reviewed through internal audit, and remains fit for the future.
Responsibilities include:
* Forming a holistic review of hazardous waste charge funding and outcomes, including options for improvements.
* Implementing recommendations from this review, such as:
o Assessing distribution of monies
o Evaluating KPIs
o Developing and delivering new ways of working
* Other responsibilities may include:
o Implementing recommendations from internal delivery audits
o Supporting the implementation of Improving Regulation
o Driving Area Hazardous Waste activities and increasing visibility
The Team
The Environment & Business (E&B) Hazardous Waste team is a small, high-performing team within the Regime Regulation division. We lead in hazardous waste management, supporting government, industry, and colleagues to ensure proper handling of hazardous waste.
