Are you a passionate technician with a keen eye for details, looking to widen your experience in a prestigious West End venue? Are you dedicated to delivering the highest quality in everything you do?
We are currently recruiting for Stage LX at The London Palladium. We are looking for highly motivated individuals to join us on this year's legendary pantomime 'Sleeping Beauty'.
Working as part of our technical team, you would provide support for the Technical Management in delivering the highest standard of customer experience to our resident producer and help break new ground in our industry.
What you'll be doing…
* Assisting with the fit-up and loadout of the production.
* Working alongside production during show reset (loading pyrotechnics, filling atmospherics).
* Carrying out general maintenance of lighting and SFX as needed.
* Fulfilling Stage LX plots on all the shows, previews and technical rehearsals of 'Sleeping Beauty'.
* Assist the Venue Technicians in the maintenance of the theatre where required.
* Work closely with the resident production and company to ensure the smooth and safe operation of each show.
* Work as part of a team to maintain a professional work environment where performers, audience and technicians are safe.
Problem solving, particularly in a live performance environment.
What we need…
* Experience of operating and loading pyrotechnics.
* Great fault finding skills.
* Excellent verbal communication skills.
* Experience of working as part of a technical team.
* Can adapt to changing circumstances and overcome challenges.
* Happy to work unsociable hours.
* Professional and proactive manner with impeccable timekeeping.
* Logical and methodical including the ability to follow instruction precisely.
* Adaptable with the ability to use initiative.
Technical theatre experience from another West End theatre, number one touring theatre or music venue.
Salary: £19.57 per hour
