The Role
As CEO, you will be responsible for the operational excellence of Valloop. Additionally, you will sit on and report to the board of Valloop Operations Ltd, ensuring alignment with the Valloop Group’s overarching goals and strategy for sustainable, purpose-driven growth.
In this role, you will lead the delivery of our operations, ensuring projects are executed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will also oversee and inspire our senior leadership team, ensuring alignment with organisational goals and empowering them to perform at their best.
Working closely with our engaged team of employee-owners, the board of Valloop Operations Ltd, and other stakeholders, you will:
* Champion our Mission: Lead with purpose, ensuring our business strategies align with our commitment to creating shared and sustainable value.
* Deliver Projects: Oversee the successful delivery of software, capital and platform solutions, managing resources, timelines, and client relationships effectively.
* Drive Growth: Identify opportunities for innovation, market expansion, and value creation while staying true to our mission.
* Empower Teams: Foster a culture of ownership, collaboration, and continuous learning across all levels of the organisation, with a particular focus on the senior leadership team.
* Enhance Operations: Optimise processes to ensure operational efficiency and resilience in a rapidly changing tech landscape.
* Build Stakeholder Relationships: Cultivate strong partnerships with clients, investors, and other stakeholders, acting as a trusted and inspiring representative of the company.
* Promote Employee Ownership: Uphold and expand our employee ownership ethos, ensuring alignment with our long-term sustainability goals.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and implement a short, medium and long-term strategy that positions Valloop Operations Ltd as a market leader.
* Sit on and actively contribute to the board of Valloop Operations Ltd, providing regular updates on progress, challenges, and opportunities.
* Ensure the delivery of high-quality software and platform solutions that meet business objectives.
* Lead and mentor a high-performing senior management team, fostering accountability and collaboration.
* Act as the face of the company, building credibility and trust in public and private sectors.
* Deliver financial sustainability and profitability through measured, strategic initiatives.
* Prioritise ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) principles in all decision-making processes.
Who You Are
You are a purpose-driven leader with a track record of driving innovation and growth in the tech sector. You balance strategic vision with operational expertise and have a deep understanding of the unique challenges faced by SMEs.
Essential Skills and Experience:
* Proven leadership experience in a technology-focused business, preferably within an SME environment.
* Demonstrated success in managing the delivery of complex software projects, ensuring quality and timely execution.
* Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
* Strong financial acumen and a history of delivering sustainable growth.
* Experience with employee-owned, cooperative, or purpose-driven businesses is highly desirable.
* A collaborative leadership style that inspires teams and aligns them with organisational goals.
