Role Purpose:
To deliver best in class consumer insight that informs category, brand and player relationship strategies, and enables delivery of the commercial and player objectives
* To deliver player insight to help game understanding, optimisation, development and launch of game enhancements and new game products in market.
* To work collaboratively with other Consumer Insight department to synthesise data and deliver compelling and actionable insights to the business.
* To develop, manage and delivery PowerBI reporting to stakeholders
* This role reports into the Lead Insight Business Partner - Games
Role Information:
This role is offered on a permanent basis. We offer hybrid working with an expectation that the successful candidate will work Watford HQ, twice per week.
The Team:
o The Consumer Insights team within Allwyn UK exists to help create the world’s most engaged lottery players through world class application of data and insight.
o The Player, Product, Proposition and Channel team provides understanding from a player perspective of the game performance and supports development of games in a player centric way.
o The team combines research and analytics to produce pertinent actionable insight on the drivers of play, player motivations and game trends, and make that information count within the business.
o Working with the rest of the Consumer Insights team, we drive holistic consumer-centric Insight and foresight that will inform and shape the brand, category and commercial strategies that meet Camelot's consumer needs.
Role Responsibilities:
o Support the team in providing Insight on product and proposition.
o Strong collaboration and a team player to lead the generation of high quality insight reports.
o Extract and analyse data and information to support team objectives of measuring player and game performance.
o Experience with PowerBI and setting up, running data/dashboards using PowerBI and extracting compelling insights to deliver to stakeholders.
o Provide understanding of games, portfolio, performance, player behaviour and motivations through analysis of consumer quantitative and qualitative information.
o Develop understanding of the ways in which these games work and the relative appeal of their different features and events and marketing activities to help game enhancement/development.
o Provide understanding of the levers that drive players to play our games, and their importance.
o Work closely with Analytics Insight partners to ensure category and brand learnings are incorporated into holistic Consumer insight for the Category.
o Work with colleagues in the Strategy, Data and Insight team to provide clear and actionable insight on the player experience and key drivers of player behaviour.
o Present to commercial managers and cross functional teams.
o Work closely with and manage research agencies.
o Strong capabilities in managing end to end research process and deliver best in class research insights to the Allwyn business.
o The ability to influence stakeholders and colleagues to ensure the player sits at the heart of business decision making.
Skills and Experience:
o Applies best practices and knowledge of internal/external business challenges to improve products, processes or services.
o Has developed depth and/or breadth of expertise in own discipline.
o Strong agency management and research background.
o Experience with PowerBI and able to generate and data/reports and extract compelling insights.
o Solves complex problems; takes a new perspective on existing solutions, occasionally identifying innovative solutions.

As part of our onboarding processes, all successful candidates will need to complete both a Pre-Employment Screening process and a Fit & Proper check by the Gambling Commission. These checks include a DBS (an enhanced check, which shows convictions and conditional cautions), credit and social media checks. As part of our application process, you will be asked to identify in advance if you have spent or unspent convictions that we need to be aware of.
Should you not disclose convictions at the application stage, not pass the Fit & Proper Check process or not complete your Pre-Employment Screening then unfortunately you may not pass our probation process.
