They are seeking a skilled and motivated Principal Designer to join their dynamic team. This role offers a chance to contribute significantly to projects across industries such as affordable housing, central & local government, hospitality, and health, focusing on compliance with health and safety standards.
Key responsibilities include:
* Advising clients on CDM regulations and health and safety compliance.
* Assisting project teams with design and regulatory matters.
* Conducting health and safety audits and inspections.
* Developing and managing pre-construction information.
* Conducting design risk assessments and reviewing construction phase plans.
* Delivering training and workshops on CDM and health and safety.
The ideal Principal Designer will have:
* A strong understanding of CDM regulations and the Building Safety Act.
* A background in construction or design.
* NEBOSH Construction Certificate or an equivalent qualification.
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
* Consultancy experience is highly desirable.
