Main duties of the job

Workingalongside clinical teams and infection control, housekeeping teams ensure thecleanliness of the Trusts estate in accordance with national standards and theTrusts strategic cleaning plan.
You willbe responsible for delivering a fully comprehensive and professional cleaningservice, to meet NHS standard of cleanliness and other housekeeping duties inaccordance with schedules and procedures and will work within local communityhospitals / other inpatient settings / health centres / clinics / andadministration areas. You will also berequired to relay information that may impact on other clinical / non-clinicalservices. The role will provide you with variety as no two days are the same.
In return, you will receive fullsupport, training, and guidance to enable you to undertake a range of cleaningduties to include, general cleaning tasks (bathrooms, kitchens, wards, clinics,theatres, office areas, etc.) as well as specialised cleaning processes toinclude machines, with some specific tasks being tailored to the needs of aparticular service and around patient care.
