Cosmetic/ Bodyshop Technician needed in Middlesborough
1. Basic salary of up to £38,000.
2. OTE of c. £45,000 (uncapped potential).
3. Working Hours: MONDAY - FRIDAY 8.30- 5.00 WITH HALF HOUR LUNCH THEN A ROTA ON A SAT

Our client, a nationally renowned automotive vehicle retailer, is seeking a Level 3 accredited Cometic/Bodyshop Repairer to join their team in Middlesborough. You will be a multi-skilled Bodyshop Technician who perhaps has a background in SMART repair, or even a specialism in a certain discipline such as Paint Spraying and Panel beating who is looking to progress into a multiskilled position.
Applications from anyone in the Bodyshop are welcome and encouraged due to the nature of the position.
What will the successful Cosmetic / Bodyshop Technician do?
7. Carry out a variety of cosmetic repairs including stripping, refurbishing, and fitting parts to damaged vehicles.
8. Use their technical knowledge.
9. Utilise diagnostic equipment to get to the root cause of faults, carry out technical maintenance, repair or replace parts, perform preventive maintenance.
10. Adhere to manufacturer repair guidelines when carrying out repairs.
The successful Cosmetic / Bodyshop Technician will have:
11. An NVQ Level 3 qualification or equivalent (preferably).
12. Past experience working in accident repair.
13. Full UK Driving License.
14. A genuine passion for the automotive industry.
