Clinical Lead Nurse (Agency) – Oxford £25.00 – £30.00 per hour (DOE) | Flexible Agency Work Role Overview We are seeking an experienced and confident Clinical Lead Nurse to work on an agency basis within a CQC-regulated residential children’s service in Oxford. This is a fantastic opportunity to take on a leadership role supporting children and young people with complex health needs, while working flexibly through agency placements. This role provides clinical leadership, ensuring safe, high-quality, and evidence-based nursing care. You will lead and support a team of nurses, maintain regulatory compliance and inspection readiness, and work collaboratively with families and partner agencies to achieve the best outcomes for young people. Key Responsibilities Provide strong clinical leadership and oversight of nursing practice Deliver safe, effective, and evidence-based care to children and young people Lead, support, and mentor nursing staff, promoting best practice Ensure compliance with CQC standards and maintain inspection readiness Work in partnership with families, carers, and external professionals Oversee care planning, risk assessments, and clinical documentation Support safeguarding processes and promote a safe care environment Deputise for the Registered Manager when required Requirements Registered Nurse (RGN/RNLD/RMN) with active NMC registration Degree-level qualification in Nursing Recognised NMC Teaching and Assessing qualification Proven experience working with children and young people with complex needs Strong leadership and decision-making skills In-depth knowledge of safeguarding, CQC standards, and clinical governance Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team About the Company Completely Care is a specialist recruitment agency supporting the health & social care, education, and childcare sectors.
