Valuation Surveyor (MRICS)
Hours: 37 hours per week
Working Pattern: Hybrid minimum 2 days per week in the office
Role Overview
Working within a commercial property function, this role is focused on delivering annual property asset valuations. Valuations are undertaken by external agents and cover a substantial commercial investment portfolio and a significant operational portfolio. The role is responsible for the robust check and challenge of all valuation outputs.
Key Responsibilities
* Review, check and challenge asset valuations submitted by external valuers for investment and operational property portfolios.
* Verify valuation input data against property records to ensure accuracy and completeness.
* Assess valuation methodologies, assumptions and variables to determine whether valuations can be approved or require further clarification.
* Liaise with external valuers and ensure all correspondence is accurately recorded on the dedicated check and challenge system.
* Record approval of valuations once all issues have been resolved.
* Undertake additional property-related tasks as required, which may include rent reviews, lease renewals, data reviews and updating the property management database.
