Location: Cowes, Isle of Wight – Onsite only
Salary: £40,974 depending on skills and experience
What you’ll be doing
Selecting, mixing and applying paint and surface finishing to defined standards
Be capable of reading and understanding technical drawings and documents such as paint mixing procedures, equipment and product processing instructions
Maintaining the paint facility, spray and paint equipment adhering to lean principles and be able to support continuous improvement opportunities
Understanding and complying with all relevant Business Management System (BMS) procedures and SHE policies
Providing assistance to Manufacturing Technicians
Maintaining Respirator Care and use equipment in line with company and legislative requirements
Working at heights and on complex high value structures
Qualifications
* Have a good understanding of a paint finishing discipline
* Able to perform painting on subassemblies and systems – encompassing new build, and repairs products
* Understand and comply with business SHE policies
* Be formally qualified, Time Served Paint Apprentice standard or similar. HNC/HND would be advantageous

The Radar Paint team
As Paint Technician, you will be part of an ever-expanding team, working alongside experienced and highly skilled wiring technicians as well as more recent additions to the team and Apprentices.
