Production Scheduler
Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 depending on experience + pension + 25 days holiday.
Location: Abingdon, Oxfordshire.
Full‑time, permanent position within a growing medical device manufacturing and engineering company.
Qualifications
* Experience in production planning, scheduling or manufacturing coordination.
* Previous experience within medical devices, healthcare, pharmaceuticals or another regulated manufacturing environment.
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
* Comfortable coordinating activities across manufacturing, engineering, quality and supply chain teams.
* Understanding of low‑volume manufacturing environments would be advantageous.
* Knowledge of ISO 13485 or similar quality standards would be beneficial.
Responsibilities
* Plan, coordinate and monitor production activities across multiple manufacturing projects.
* Develop and maintain realistic production schedules aligned to customer and project requirements.
* Work closely with manufacturing, engineering, quality and supply chain teams to ensure delivery targets are achieved.
* Monitor production progress and proactively identify potential delays or resource constraints.
* Support effective allocation of resources within a low‑volume manufacturing environment.
* Assist with continuous improvement of planning and scheduling processes.
This role is commutable from Abingdon, Oxford, Didcot, Witney, Wantage, Bicester, Newbury, Swindon and surrounding areas.
