Responsibilities
* Provide specialist cancer care across organisational, professional, and geographical boundaries, working autonomously and as part of a dedicated team.
* Deliver specialist nursing advice and support to patients and their families throughout the care pathway.
* Utilise skills of clinical expertise, education, and management to ensure a seamless service for patients, carers, and staff, providing advice, support, and information.
* Work closely with the multidisciplinary team in hospital and across the community to ensure a coordinated quality service and participate in education, audit, and research.
* Engage and lead discussions in multidisciplinary team meetings and maintain a high quality, holistic approach to managing the patient’s pathway.
