Professional Development Group Facilitator
Location: Covent Garden, London
Salary: £39.11 per hour for teaching, inclusive of pro rata holiday entitlement and preparation time / £25.83 per hour for meetings, inclusive of pro rata holiday entitlement
Hours of Work:
Thursdays - weekly from 16:00 - 17:30, then fortnightly from March 2027 - June 2028. Term time only.
About the role
Are you an experienced Professional Development Group Facilitator? Then why not join City Lit’s Psychotherapy, Counselling & Personal Development department to facilitate a professional development group as part of the Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling course, SEG Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling: Integrative.
The aim of the group is to support Placement work underpinned by a Professional Development curriculum and you will play a key role in creating an outstanding experience for the students. You will be required to attend meetings with other facilitators for peer support and supervision for 30-minutes before facilitating your own groups, take responsibility for classroom administration and work co-operatively within the programme area team.

We are particularly interested in hearing from you if you:
* Have significant post qualification experience as an Integrative Counsellor.
* Are practising as an Integrative Counsellor.
* Are in current and ongoing Supervision.
* Have BACP membership and abide by the Ethical Framework for the Counselling Professions.
* Have Level 2 qualifications in both Literacy and Numeracy (or equivalent).
* Have a Level 4 Diploma in Integrative Counselling.
