SF Recruitment are working with a fledgling manufacturing business to a recruit a purchasing Administrator. Job Purpose
To support the Purchasing function by processing and progressing purchase orders, maintaining accurate records, producing documentation, and facilitating the efficient purchasing of goods for contracts.
Key Responsibilities
Purchase Order Management
Progress purchase orders with suppliers for main contracts.
Receive and record acknowledgements and advice notes.
Input and maintain data on the company's purchasing software and computer systems.
Prepare new purchase orders in the system accurately and efficiently.
Documentation & Reporting
File purchase orders, acknowledgements, and advice notes; photocopy and scan documents as needed.
Administrative Support
Perform general filing and document management related to purchasing function.
Reporting Lines:
Must be capable of working independently and without direct supervision
I.T literate to a good standard & able to pick new systems up easily
Office-based role.
Required to meet tight deadlines relating to purchasing, packing, and shipping schedules
