Vehicle Service Technician - Keighley
1. Basic Salary - Up to c. £40,000 depending on experience.
2. Monday-Friday 42.5 hours a week.
3. NO WEEKENDS
4. Overtime Paid at time and a half.
5. NVQ Level 3 desirable.
6. Extra day's holiday for every year of service.
7. Birthday day off every year.
Our client is a well-known garage in Keighley. With great customer feedback and lots of repeat customers the garage is currently thriving with business. They are now looking to add an experienced technician to their top of the range workshop.

Duties and responsibilities of the successful Vehicle Technician:
8. Undertake maintenance, service and repair activities on the brands range of vehicles.
9. Work to the highest level within scheduled times to meet company, franchise and manufacturers' standards.
10. Repair, test vehicles and diagnose faults.
11. Replace components, parts, lubricants and consumables whilst maintaining records and providing quality write ups for the customer and manufacturer.
12. Maintain a clean and tidy work area, organised and safe from hazards to 'Health and Safety'.
13. Advise and report on vehicle faults, servicing requirements including future servicing/repair requirements through the Vehicle Health Check and Video process.
14. Analyse Job cards and vital information to understand the vehicles condition.

The ideal Vehicle Technician will have:
21. A minimum of an NVQ/IMI Level 2 qualification or above.
22. A Level 3 qualification would be desirable (or equivalent).
23. At least 4 years' previous technician experience, whether this be main dealer or independent garage.
24. Previous working knowledge of the brand would be preferred.
25. A Full UK Driving Licence.
26. Own set of general hand tools.
