We are seeking an experienced Stress Analyst to join on a contract basis, supporting structural analysis activities across a range of projects. The role involves working with both aluminium and composite components, providing expertise that contributes to safe, efficient, and innovative engineering solutions.

* Carry out detailed stress analysis of aluminium and composite structures.
* Use classical methods and FEA to validate and optimise designs.
* Provide input on materials, manufacturing constraints, and design improvements.
* Prepare and present clear technical reports with actionable recommendations.
* Collaborate closely with design and manufacturing teams.
* Ensure all work complies with relevant industry and safety standards.

* Demonstrable experience in structural or stress analysis roles.
* Strong background in both aluminium and composite materials.
* Track record in aerospace, marine, or defence engineering environments.
* Proficiency with FEA tools such as ANSYS, Abaqus, or Nastran.
* Ability to interpret engineering drawings and CAD data effectively.
* Strong communication skills and a problem-solving mindset.
