Our client, a distinguished company in the aerospace MRO sector, is currently seeking a skilled B2 Licensed Engineer to join their team. This permanent position involves maintaining and ensuring the airworthiness of aircraft, requiring a focused and detailed approach to safety and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
Performing detailed inspections, troubleshooting, and maintenance of aircraft systems
Carrying out scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on various aircraft types
Ensuring all work is carried out to the highest standards of safety and compliance
Maintaining accurate records of all maintenance activities
Collaborating with other team members to ensure efficient workflow and aircraft turnaround times
Providing technical support and guidance to junior engineers when necessary
Complying with all regulatory and company procedures
Conducting certifications of electrical/avionic systems as required
Job Requirements:
Experience in aircraft maintenance
B2 Licensed Engineer (Britten Norman or Group 3 type rating desired, not essential) - Relevant type training will be provided
Strong understanding of aerospace MRO practices
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues swiftly and effectively
Excellent attention to detail and adherence to safety regulations
Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team
Flexibility to work shifts as required
