Our client has developed a groundbreaking RFID-cloud-based platform that revolutionizes the operational and sales methods of traditional retailers.
With a rapidly expanding sales pipeline and clientele comprising major global corporations, they seek a dedicated and skilled Technical Sales Manager.
In this role, the primary focus will be on guiding and overseeing the technological evaluation phase for potential clients. Working closely with the sales team, the Technical Sales Manager will serve as a technical advisor and product expert, effectively communicating the technology and product positioning to both business-minded and technically inclined prospects throughout the sales process.
Responsibilities:
* Lead the technical engagement of customers across their journey to facilitate the sale, implementation, and adoption of solutions.
* Collaborate closely with Account Management, Sales, Product, and Services teams to devise innovative solutions for clients.
* Deliver technical presentations, demonstrations, and architecture design sessions to showcase solution capabilities and demonstrate how the company can drive business growth (pre-sales activities).
* Address technical challenges specific to clients and partners' environments, crafting solutions that facilitate the sales process.
* Adapt to a dynamic environment with an evolving product, being hands-on as required.
* Proficiency in various integration processes and experience with managed web services like AWS/Azure/Other providers.
* Develop documentation, whitepapers, RFP/RFI responses, and other materials for internal and client/partner use.
* Identify and customize solutions for strategic customers, overseeing their delivery.
* Collaborate with the partner network to provide technical training and support throughout the consumer lifecycle.
Requirements:
* Ideally 5 years' proven experience as a Solution Architect, Pre-sales Engineer, or Product Manager in a global company.
* Technical/engineering background or education is mandatory.
* Demonstrated experience in implementing RFID solutions.
* Experience in the retail industry is highly advantageous.
* Exceptional communication and presentation skills (both written and verbal) are essential.
* Strong teamwork skills coupled with the ability to take ownership of end-to-end processes.
* Familiarity with tools such as Postman, SQL queries, monitoring tools, Jira, Monday, or similar.
* Experience in customer-facing roles within a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
* Fluency in English; knowledge of other European languages is a plus.
