Job Description Kick-start your finance career in a fast-growing, innovative technology company. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate looking to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic Finance team within a global business. You’ll be supported every step of the way, including ACCA study support, as you build your skills and grow professionally.
Responsibilities
* As an Accounts Payable Assistant, you’ll play a key role in ensuring accurate and timely processing of financial data. Your responsibilities will include:
* Supplier Invoices: Processing incoming purchase invoices and reconciling supplier statements
* Allocating credit card payments and reconciling monthly statements
* Liaising with key suppliers and resolving queries
* Ensuring invoices are authorised in line with budget processes and correctly entered into the finance system
* Preparing weekly payment suggestions and reconciling supplier accounts
* Other Finance Tasks
* Supporting month-end routines including accruals, prepayments, and journals
* Assisting with annual audit preparation
* Recording and reconciling intercompany transactions
* Reviewing deposits and contract prepayments
* Inputting capital expenditure items into the Fixed Asset register
* Maintaining supplier accounts in the ERP system
* Participating in future finance projects as needed
What experience do I need?
* Numerate and detail-oriented, ensuring high-quality data entry
* Highly organised, able to manage multiple priorities independently
* Proactive and flexible, with a helpful and collaborative attitude
* Confident and reliable, with excellent communication skills
* Comfortable working to deadlines, especially during peak monthly periods
* Experienced in finance systems, with the ability to escalate and resolve issues effectively
