Basic Function:
The Area Sales Manager is responsible for the acquisition of new & used quality asset finance business, for the development and retention of strong customer and dealer relationships for IC Capital.
Customer relationships are forged either from introductions by Dealer Principals and Sales Personnel, or Manufacturers and Sales Personnel, or CNHI Commercial Operations and IC Capital Field Force.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support and Promote Sales: Responsible for supporting and promoting the sales of the assigned Brand by acting as 360°trusted financial partner and unique interface for dealers & customers and managing the entire catalogue of financial products and services, working in cooperation with the corresponded sales representative of the Brand and/or financial partner/s strictly coordinating with CL & Business Support team
* Development, Follow up and execution of a business plan by dealers: Define business plan and targets by dealer proactively developing and maintaining relationships with Brand, dealers and customers in the assigned territory to execute the plan
* Achieve Sales Success: Develop and maintain relationships with a portfolio of new and existing dealers and customers to achieve high levels of sales success.
* Build Strong Relationships: Establish IC Capital as the dealer’s and customer’s first choice business partner by building strong relationships at all levels.
* Negotiate Transactions: Negotiate with customers and dealers on specific transactions to deliver the best solutions for both the customer and IC Capital.
* Develop and Train Dealers: Act as the first point of contact for retail finance enquiries, developing and training a selected group of CNHI & IVECO dealers.
* Achieve Targets: Meet targets related to volume, margin, period, fee income, deal numbers, captive, used and allied business, and sales penetration.
* Increase Efficiency: Use current and future business reporting to enhance customer service and business efficiency.
* Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives and provide excellent customer service.
* Manage Administrative Tasks: Efficiently handle administrative tasks, ensuring the timely and accurate completion of high-value finance applications in compliance with the company's credit policies, and process payouts with minimal errors.
* Understand Market Impact: Stay informed about the impact of economic, political, and legislative changes on the Company’s business.
* Ensure Compliance: Adhere to FCA regulations and company policies, including Anti Money Laundering, data protection, and treating customers fairly.
* Utilise Microsoft Office: Competently use Microsoft Office software, maximizing follow-up and data analysis capabilities, including diary features.
* Cultivate Innovation: Actively contribute to IC Capital by fostering new ideas and establishing best practices.
* Promote Team Collaboration: Embrace, develop, and maximize a "one team approach" with dealers, brands, and internal colleagues.
Job Requirements and Qualifications:
* Proven track record in achieving sales targets within a complex business environment
* Must have successful experience of delivering front-line sales particularly in the provision of Asset Finance
* Ability to use Microsoft Office software applications or similar packages
* Knowledge of the Agricultural, Construction, and Commercial Vehicle finance markets will be of advantage
* Previous experience in the captive vendor finance environment
* The ability to understand, embrace and implement change in a dynamic business environment
* A complete understanding of the industrial supply chain and the requirements of each component part
