Job Title: Rail Window Film Installer
Location: Various locations across the TfL Network (no fixed place of work; teams grouped by area where possible)
Contract: 12-month contract with potential 12-month extension
Hours: Sunday–Thursday, 20:00–04:30 (night shift)
Breaks: 30-minute unpaid break
Salary: £19 per hour starting rate, rising to £24 per hour upon competence sign-off
Team Structure: Working in teams of two; total team of six across the network
Role Overview
We are seeking motivated individuals to join our team as Rail Window Film Installers. The successful candidates will be responsible for maintaining and installing protective window film across the Transport for London (TfL) network. This role is ideal for cleaners or operatives looking to progress their careers, as comprehensive training and upskilling will be provided.
You will work nights across multiple sites, primarily within the London Underground environment. This is a mobile role with no fixed place of work, requiring flexibility and reliability.
Key Responsibilities
Install, maintain, and replace protective window film on rail assets across the TfL network.
Attend and complete all required training.
Work safely and efficiently as part of a two-person team across various stations and depots.
Ensure work meets required quality standards and complies with TfL and company procedures.
Maintain accurate records of work completed and report any issues or defects.
Follow all safety protocols, including use of PPE and adherence to health & safety regulations.
Communicate effectively with supervisors, colleagues, and site personnel.

Essential
Willingness to undertake mandatory safety and technical training.
Ability to work night shifts consistently.
Flexibility to work across multiple sites with no fixed base.
Good attention to detail and ability to deliver consistent, high-quality work.

Experience working within rail, construction, or safety-critical environments.
Previous experience with installation, fitting, or manual technical tasks.
Valid LU (London Underground) entry permits or rail competencies (not required; training provided).

PPE and tools will be provided.
Travel between sites may be required; travel arrangements will be communicated as teams are assigned.
