Your Role:
* Collaborate closely with the class teacher to deliver an engaging EYFS curriculum, supporting both individual and small group activities.
* Provide responsive support to children, fostering their social, emotional, and academic development both inside and outside the classroom.
* Contribute to creating a warm, inclusive learning environment that encourages curiosity, confidence, and independence.
* Monitor and assess children's progress, providing valuable insights to tailor learning experiences to individual needs.
* Assist in planning, preparing, and organizing educational resources to maintain a stimulating and well-structured classroom environment.
* Engage with parents, carers, and colleagues to ensure each child's well-being and development are supported.
* Implement positive behaviour management strategies to help children build strong social and emotional skills.
Ideal Candidate:
* Holds a Level 3 EYFS qualification (or equivalent).
* Proven experience in an EYFS setting with a solid understanding of the EYFS framework and child development.
* A genuine passion for supporting young children's learning and development.
* Patient, empathetic, adaptable, with excellent communication skills.
* A strong team player who thrives in a collaborative environment.
* Confident in implementing behaviour management strategies and maintaining a positive classroom atmosphere.
Requirements:
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
