SEND teaching assistant required for busy Primary School in Huddersfield for a September start
Are you a SEND teaching assistant with experience of working with children with medical needs? If you are an SEND specialist, or
have strengths being a learning support assistant for children with additional and medical needs, this is the role for you!
From September, a Huddersfield Primary school is looking for a learning support assistant to work 1:1 with a boy in Year 3 with additional needs.
Day to day for this SEND teaching assistant role:
* Supporting with moving safely around school
* Supporting child with learning
* Administrating medication (training qill be given if needed)
* Being a positive, nurturing person for your pupil to bond with
As a support assistant you will show strong pastoral and emotional support for your pupil, as well as being vigilant to their cues and needs which will mean able to think on the spot and being flexible with his timetable. The pupil will require some medical administration (training will be given).
