About Us: XL Scales Ltd is a specialist in the supply, service, and calibration of industrial weighing equipment across the UK. Due to continued growth, we are looking to recruit a hard-working, hands‑on Weighing Service Engineer to join our dedicated team.
The Role
As a Service Engineer, you’ll be working in a field-based role carrying out the installation, servicing, repair, and calibration of weighing equipment. You’ll cover a wide variety of customer sites across the UK but mainly Norfolk, Suffolk and Lincolnshire.
Key Responsibilities
* Service, repair, and calibrate industrial weighing equipment and related systems
* Complete required paperwork and service reports accurately
* Travel to customer sites across the UK
* Manual handling of equipment is a significant part of the role
* Work overtime as required to meet customer demands
What We’re Looking For
* A practical, hands‑on individual who isn’t afraid of physical work
* Willingness to travel and stay away overnight when needed
* Strong work ethic and ability to work independently
* Good communication and basic IT skills for reporting and paperwork
* Full UK driving licence (required)
