Job Description:
As a sporting coordinator, you will be responsible for the operational and sporting coordination of the Junior World Rally Championship.
You will also support the organisation and development of the FIA World Rally Championship (WRC). This role offers the opportunity to play an active part in the strategic evolution of both championships and contribute to the excellence of FIA rallying worldwide.
You will report to the WRC Category Manager.
Responsibilities:
* Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders (ASNs, organisers, WRC consultants).
* Manage championship registrations and monitor event registrations.
* Oversee the accreditation process for the championship.
* Ensure accuracy and compliance of all official documents.
* Propose improvements to enhance WRC and JWRC visibility and quality.
Event Support – JWRC (max 6 events/year):
* Act as FIA Championship coordinator during JWRC events.
* Assess on-site conditions and services for JWRC competitors.
* Present reports after each event.
* Coordinate with stakeholders: ASNs, promoters, organisers, competitors, officials.
Delegate Coordination:
* Communicate with FIA delegates and consultants.
Reporting:
* Collect reports from FIA officials.
* Support governance and regulations.
* Assist in WRC Commission meetings prep.
* Draft and follow-up on sporting regulations.
* Support FIA seminars and officials' summit.
Championship Calendar Management:
* Review calendar applications from ASNs.
Communication & Website Coordination:
* Maintain up-to-date championship info on fia.com.
* Update standings and classifications.
Profile:
* Degree in Sports Management or related field.
* Strong rallying knowledge.
* Experience as co-driver, team coordinator, or event organiser is a plus.
* Familiar with FIA regulations.
* Fluent in English; French or Spanish preferred.
* Experience with Adobe Creative Suite is a plus.
* Excellent communication skills with stakeholders.
* Proactive, collaborative, highly organized, detail-oriented.
