Thrive Education are delighted to be recruiting for a passionate and nurturing Year 1 Teacher to join a welcoming and community-focused infant school in Gloucester on a maternity cover basis.

The Role
1. Full class responsibility for a Year 1 class
2. Planning and delivering engaging, creative lessons in line with the KS1 curriculum
3. Supporting pupils as they transition from EYFS into more structured learning
4. Creating a positive, inclusive and nurturing classroom environment
5. Assessing and monitoring pupil progress
6. Working closely with colleagues, support staff and families
The Ideal Candidate
7. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
8. Experience within Key Stage 1 or Early Years
9. A strong understanding of early phonics and child development
10. Excellent classroom management skills
11. A creative and enthusiastic approach to teaching
12. A genuine passion for supporting young learners
