In line with our growth strategy, AtkinsRéalis in the UK & Europe region, we have an opportunity for an Assistant / Consultant Level Health & Safety Consultant within our London office. The opportunity will support our successful London based Health and Safety consultant Team whilst developing your own career as a Health and Safety consultant in the construction industry.

Your Role
* CDM Advisor services on a range of different sized projects
* Providing CDM and PD Advisory services to clients on a range of different sized projects
* General health and safety consultancy services to clients
* Health and safety support as part of bids, including supporting writing bid documents
* Supporting colleagues with health and safety expertise where required
* Developing existing and new clients as part of our ‘win work’ strategy
* Applying the principles of quality assurance and environmental management in compliance with the organisation's policies
Your Qualifications
* Possess a NEBOSH National / Construction Certificate
* A member of APS, or working towards
* A Technician / Graduate level member of IOSH or IIRSM equivalent with a desire to work towards Chartered Status
* A relevant design or construction related qualification (preferred but not essential)
About You
* Experience and knowledge of applying the Construction (Design & Management) Regulations 2015 and general Health and Safety legislation and guidance
* Demonstratable knowledge of safety in design
* Experience of delivering Principal Designer and CDM Advisor services
* Experience of working as part of a multi-disciplinary team
* Sound understanding of the main Microsoft Office packages
* Ability to prepare / present emails and documents, demonstrating a good understanding of the written and spoken English language
* Competent report writing
* Flexible to travel across AtkinsRéalis client locations
* A valid driving license is essential and a car
